First of all my important documents that are in my safe. Then maybe my wedding album.
My guns. How about you?
I'd go for a few senimetal things. I think my jewelry box - because it has generations of handed-down items that can't be replaced, and in one box I can grab items from both sides of my family that can continue to live on. (Yeah, I have a pretty big jewelry box. )
Jewelry don't melt. Why that?
It does melt. And not all of it is of high quality. Remember - its OLD. And I strategized about it becuase it has maximum return for minimal risk. Lots of irreplaceables in one box. A no-brainer. Also - the passports are right next to that, so I'd see them and grab them as well. Without a house - we'd go on vacation.
I like the idea of going on a vacation, and letting someone else do all the clean up work. Gold melts at 1425 degrees f. Diamonds don't. Costumn does though. Most house fires don't exceed 1000 f.
Natalie Blake is an open book and a bad speller.
