When someone asks "Well, I know that was a hard conversation, but did you keep "it" together?"
Yeah! There are hard conversations in everyone's lives - and we all deal differently. But, WTF are people expecting to hear when they ask that? Are you asking me if I cried? Or are you asking me if I lept over the table and grabbed a letter opener and held it to his/her throat? Just ask - "Did you cry?" "Did you leap over the table, grab a letter opener and hold it to her throat?"
Oh, and thanks for the confidence. You're asking because you didn't think I could keep "it" together, aren't you?
