Why am I supposed to write a cover letter explaining how I'm the best candidate for a position I've read a brief description about at a company I've never been to and I haven't even had an interview to learn more about ether.
Can employers not see through that? They will all say the same thing, use the same action-oriented buzz-words and assurances that "I am the right person for the job."
I haven't written a cover letter in over 10 years. I refuse to.
If an employer is so old-fashioned that they feel they need to see how well I ass-kiss before they even speak to me, I want no part of that.
